Today’s check in is another short and sweet one. Most of you know my brother passed on Thursday, and it was a relief to everyone watching him suffer. Because I’ll be traveling for the services, I won’t be blogging this week.
I did manage to write almost 1800 words on The Prophet and work out an additional plot point, so the week was productive.
Hope you all had successful weeks:) See you next Sunday.

Hi Stacy – So sorry for your loss. My brother is two years younger than me and is struggling with metastasized cancer.
Stacy Green
Thank you, Laurie. I’ll keep your brother in my prayers. Mine was older, and I didn’t have the chance to know him well. Can’t imagine your situation.

My condolences to you and your family. I didn’t know that your brother had passed, but oddly enough I prayed about your family last week, and I could swear it was on Thursday. You still managed to write, which is good. In fact, sometimes writing can help through the grief. Best wishes, Stacy.

I just saw this. Thanks so much. Yes, he passed on the 26th. Writing definitely helped through the grief, and he’s in a better place now.

Hey, I love your blog, you should check out mine. I’m just getting started and I would greatly appreciate the help in spreading the word, I’ll be spreading the word on yours, I love how you write your reviews and the varieties you have in your books.
I also have another blog that is slightly older and I post, now mostly original poetry or how my day was, or scenes/chapters from play’s/books of my original work. I would appreciate your feedback on whether you my poetry/writing is any good.
