Thanks Nicole — I can talk funny (I’ve been told) but my books aren’t humorous. (Occasionally sarcastic, but that’s about the extent of humor!)

And I was very, very serious about caffeine being my fuel. I keep Starbucks in business. Wish I had bought stock years ago … 🙂

Nicole
Allison is a funny lady. She’s very down to earth about her success. I really liked the fact she didn’t try to put up a front and act as though she got everything done and still had time to write. She was honest about the sacrifices it took.

Thanks so much for the compliment! And definitely check out Allison’s books:)

I will have to echo Julie. This is one of the most useful author interviews I’ve read as well!

I have to say Allison is sooooo funny! Seriously, I found myself smiling throughout the whole post.

I loved how when she was talking about writing she said: “It was not on the back-burner; it was off the stove!”, the part about caffeine being her fuel, sacrificing cleaning and cooking and all the other humoristic comments. She sounds like a very fun, honest and smart lady. Now I’m curious about her books even though I don’t read thrillers.

So nice that you got to interview one of your favorite authors. Sets a high precendent for the other writers/bloggers. 🙂

Hi Cynthia! I’m so glad you enjoyed the interview. I was worried about asking questions worthy of Allison’s time and that you guys would be interested in. Yes, Allison’s opinions were great and HONEST. She takes the time to consider the question and doesn’t sugarcoat things. You’re very welcome. Thanks for the compliments!
