To celebrate the move to my new home, I’m doing a special Saturday Mash-Up of my favorite blog posts over the last couple of weeks. Enjoy, and welcome!

How I Became Publisher
Piper Bayard had a great guest post at Writers In The Storm: How Writers Learn What They Need To Know. I loved this because we all have to find what works for us as individuals.
The Bookshelf Muse’s Weather Thesaurus Entry: Vortex. Angela Ackerman shares some great examples of using weather in our writing without being cliche.
Jenny Hansen’s 8 Ways To Grow Your Social Media Imprint. Jenny always has great ideas and is willing to help other authors. She’s got some great ones here.
Laura Pauling talks about branding in The Friday 5 – tough questions about “brand.”
This post really made me think about my own brand and has some great responses.
Just Plain Fun
I have to give Jenny Hansen another shout-out. Her post Do I Have A Dirty Mind had tears of laughter rolling down my face.
Natalie Hartford’s made the discovery of the year—the Booze Belly!
No More Sneaking Pints Into The Concert!
The always funny Tawna Fenske had me laughing again with
Are They Perverts, Or Am I?
Tiffany White’s Friday FabOoolous – Friday Night Flicks For Fall reminded me of one of my favorite 90s movies, Varsity Blues. Hello, Paul Walker!
Amber West’s Friday Inspiration Posts always make me smile. Don’t forget to visit #Gowithout while you’re visiting!
K.B. Owen loves to dig back into time and research crime and mysteries. Her post,

Catie Rhodes gave me chills with her personal experience at The Devil’s Backbone Tavern. The name itself gives me the creeps!
Deborah Dale posted another edition to her Ghosts of Gettysburg Series. Spooky Stuff!

Hey, Stacy, thanks so much for the linky-love! I’m honored to be in such good company, and now I’ve got some cool folks to go check out!
You’re welcome. Always love your posts. Thanks for stopping by!
Very cool idea! I’ll have to check some of these out I haven’t yet read.
Thanks for stopping by, Kelly. There are some great links there – hope you like them:)
Thanks Stacy! These are some good links–looking forward to exploring!
You’re welcome, Angela. Always love your entries. They make me think about writing/descriptions in a whole new way. Thanks for commenting!

The new site looks great, Stacy! I have signed up and I’m following.
A great link – Jillian Dodd posts movie reviews on Fridays. She makes it a point to see a new release each week. Her review scale is great – each star rating is based on a dating experience. 🙂
Ooh, thanks for the Jillian Dodd link. I’ll have to check it out because I have to be really picky about movies. Never have that much time, lol. Thanks:)
That is so up my alley, Tiff! Love Jillian’s posts. (And yours, and Kathy’s, and Catie’s, and Stacy’s…)
Thanks for the shout-out. That booze belly thing is a laugh. I had never heard of that. Back when I ran for fitness, though, there was a product called The Camel Bak.
I never invested in one, but it looked interesting. 😀
You’re welcome, Catie. I loved the Booze Belly. Natalie’s great at finding crazy stuff. And it’s amazing how much stuff there is out there in the name of fitness.
Thanks so much, Stacy! There are so many great blog posts that they are hard to keep up. I’m glad you’ve given a mash-up of some to check out. I’m in great company here.
Your site looks terrific. I am wondering how hard it was to switch from blogger (where I am) to wordpress. Maybe we can Twitter chat later. 😉
Hey Stacy, this is a terrific idea. There are a lot of these blogs that I’ve never read so I appreciate the links. Thanks!
You’re welcome. Your post was really touching, especially considering what my brother has gone through. I hope you enjoy the other links as well.
As for switching, it was easier than I thought. There are ways to import your blogger posts and pics. You just have to redo tags and widgets. And of course, get your followers back. Let me know if you have questions!
Annie, you’re welcome. I’m glad to give you some new blogs to read. Enjoy!
Wow, Stacy! This is some serious blog love, for me as well as for Writers In The Storm! Thanks bunches and bunches. 🙂
I think your new site rocks and I much prefer the comment section. 🙂
Stacy, thanks for the mention! And love the fun links and mash up of people’s great posts!
You’re welcome. You deserved the recognition:) Glad you liked the mash-up. Lots of fun posts in there.
You’re welcome! I loved both of the posts and had to give them som kudos. Glad you’re liking the new site, too.

So glad to be included in a group of bloggers I enjoy so much! I’m so glad to see you in your new home 🙂
You’re welcome, Amber. I love your Friday posts. Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for the shout-out, Stacy! I do have a great link: http://youtu.be/VsyE2rCW71o for Breast Cancer Awareness. I can’t recall ever watching a PSA (Public Service Announcement) over and over again before, but it was done so very well, how could I resist?
You’re very welcome, and thanks for sharing that link. I’m heading there now. Thanks for commenting!
Thanks sooo much for the shout out Stacy – woot woot!
Tons of fantastic links to check out with bloggers I haven’t met yet so I’m going to busy reading through them all this week – thanks!!
