Here’s where my dilemma lies. As a Christian, I believe anyone can be redeemed and change his/her life. I have to believe that. (That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be punished!) However…as a mother, that would be very hard to believe. Even though my boys are grown, they are still my babies, and I remember them being small. Also, I have a 3-year-old granddaughter, and if anyone touched her in the wrong way, I almost think I could kill them. So my hope as a Christian wars with my emotions as a mother/grandmother. Does that make sense?
