Great definitions. Every genre seems to be in flux and I tend to write in-bewteen definitions so thank you for your insights!

Excellent summary! I read thrillers, but don’t write in either genre, so it was nice to see it divided up this way. Now I know what to look for when I’m shopping for my next thriller. 😀 I personally love the psychological thrillers, too! Shutter Island was awesome. 😀
